2.I is the minimal two-wheeler, which summarizes the entire philosophy of Minimal Powertrain AG.

A multiutility vehicle, cleverly designed also for the Cargo version, to make it possible to transport safely, quickly and cost saving several goods, and thus respond optimally to the urban and suburban typical needs, as bring your child to school, make shopping, deliver mail and parcel of good size, without problems of fatigue and stop and go.

The Power Unit Hybrid with Integrated Driveline “All in One” and a frame with an innovative aestethic – very few elements that maintain a fixed size of the section in side view – along with many other technical choices of substance, constitute a completely new vehicle, free from habits and conventions.

The abbreviation 2.I, as will be for every name of our vehicles, is the code that we have chosen to identify immediately for them the number of wheels, in this case two, and the model number, in this case the first.

The Minimal 2.I: materials, construction technology, equipment

Frame

A6061 T6 aluminum alloy (EN AW 6061 – In Mg1SiCu – according to UNI EN 573) preformed by extrusion, laser cut and welded with filler material.

Wheels

Front and rear wheels Magnesium alloy 92%, 6% aluminum and other metals 2% (AM 6013 seconds ASTM B 275) with a diameter of the sidewall 559 and 622 mm (for 26 and 27-28-29 inches tire), channel width from 17.5 to 19 mm (17C-19C) , obtained in a single body with the hub for hight pressure casting worked in tolerance to the machine tool. Axis by 10 mm with quick release and regulating device for the drive wheel.

Tires

Low rolling resistance and high puncture resistance 50 / 55-559 (ETRTO) 26×2 / 2.15 (Inches) and 40 / 50-622 (ETRTO) 28×1.50 / 2 (Inches) for electric bicycle and pedelec.

Brakes

Front and rear disc with manual lever at left and right side of the handlebar.

Headlights

Front and Rear LED adjustable in intensity and integrated into the front and rear luggage rack.

Acoustic device

Classical bell manually operated. Optional electric type with an o choice of anti-theft feature.

Luggage rack and Mudguards

Front and rear in-frame structured as standard.

Storage Compartment

Integrated in the main inclined tube. Optional further available in the seat tube.

Power Unit

Hybrid with Integrated Drivetrain 250W and 48V complying the European regulations for the electric bicycles with pedal assistance.

Tank Energy

Accumulator of Electric Charge Code BP 01-9 Ah, 48V – 432 Wh with Management, Protection and Control of Intelligent type.

Electrical Machine and Drive

Synchronous Permanent Magnet high efficiency (Nd-Fe-Bo) brushless, 48V Sinewave 250-500W, with complete management of the Electric Machine in motor and generator modes.

Sensors, Monitors and Transceivers

Angular speed Hall-effect type; fixed matrix LCD Interface (DI 01). Ready for Torque sensor; Dot matrix display and transmission BTH, Transceiver via SAT.

Power Recovery and Generation by the Vehicle
